Memory One
Part One - Part Two
'Earliest' Memories

CONTENT WARNING: Some blood. Death. Vampire things.
Things to Note:

- All names are redacted. However, her adoptive father's title as 'Chairman' will remain. Also, she will hear the part about all girls being princesses, but not what her true name is.
- The memory is broken up into two separate parts to try and help with clarity and the fact that it is broken up in the series itself. It begins with her rescue and will turn into a slight montage of scenes that go up to her first week in her new home.
- Whatever thoughts or feelings she possesses in the memory can be heard/experienced by the viewer.

Summary:

Part 1:

- Yuuki appears to be about five years old. She wakes up outside in the middle of a blizzard. The white snow about her is deep, but also splashed red with blood. She seems scared and confused.
- A man appears before her. He asks if she is lost and when he determines that she must be, he attacks her. He grabs hold of her to reveal fangs.
- She tries to yell for him to stop before he can sink his fangs into her throat. At that moment, however, they are interupted.
- A boy appears out of nowhere in a flash. His had goes clear through the vampire's head, splattering blood upon them all. With a yank, he pulls his hand back and that man drops dead.
- "You're a disgrace to all vampires." The boy licks at the blood that covers his hands and then glances to her to ask if she is okay.
- She appears confused and doesn't speak. She lifts a gloved hand up to her cheek which is now covered in blood. She sniffs at it but he lowers her hand and tells her not to touch at it.
- The boy asks her why is alone in such a place. When she doesn't respond he grabs her hand and tells her to come with him. He introduces himself and asks for her name.
- Yuuki doesn't seem to know what her name is. Her hands tremble in his and he seems to notice that she's both cold and scared. He embraces warmly her and puts voice to her feelings.

Part 2:

- Time seems to have passed. Yuuki is now in a room, inspecting a pudding uncertainly as a new man sits across from her. At her side is the boy who saved her.
- The new man mentions that he understands that the boy wants him to take care of her and that he is indebted to that boy's parents.
- Yuuki sniffs at the pudding and pokes at it a bit before the man comments that it seems she doesn't realize it can be eaten, and the boy comments that it seems her memories have disappeared completely.
- The boy grabs a spoon and explains that she should eat it, and moves to help her. That's when she notices his teeth, however. They are sharp.
- The boy asks her what is wrong and tells her to open up, but she reaches out toward his own mouth. When her fingers touch his lips, he parts them for her and her finger gently brushes one of his fangs...
- Before the memory of the man who attacked her strikes and screams in terror and backpedals upon the couch.
- The boy appears sadly resigned and tells the 'chairman' that she should probably remove himself from her sight. They talk briefly, and she watches him go.
- The chairman explains to her that 'that guy' once told him that all girls are born princesses, and so that she would be his ****** princess.

- A week seems to pass and Yuuki is attempting to dress. She struggles with a sock, and the chairman comments that despite it being a week, she hasn't spoken at all.
- Suddenly the door slams open and the boy who has saved her before rushes inside in a clear panic just out of sight, before the chairman calmly greets him.
- It seems the chairman sent a telegram that said Yuuki had been attacked and so he had run back to save her, only to realize it had been a lie.
- The boy proclaims that he'll never believe the chairman again before suddenly the chairman begins to point at her and cry for the other to look.
- Yuuki has proudly put on her clothes all by herself (even though they are all wrong). Suddenly the boy peeks at her from around the corner, and in surprise, she dives beneath her towel.
- The boy suddenly breaks into a fit of laughter at her....!!!! The chairman seems to think he's broke somehow.
- When the boy finally begins to calm down he smiles at her and apologizes to her for having scared her, saying that he'll go and telling her bye.
- Yuuki rushes out from beneath her towel and reaches out to grasp hold of his jacket. Despite having been a little scared and embarrassed, she doesn't really want him to go either.
- For the first time since her ordeal, she speaks his name-- and smiles, before speaking his name once more.

Commentary:
- Some vampires are scary some aren't as scary.
- Snow is not supposed to be red
- A chairman of something is supposed to be her adoptive father
- The boy appears to maybe be someone special to her.
- FUCKING DOUBLE AMNESIA.

Effects:

- This just alerts her to the fact that apparently in the amnesia department, this isn't her first rodeo. Vampires are a thing that she was kind of afraid of for a while despite being one herself? Or was she one back here...

Memory 02

Memory Two
Part One - Part Two
(Chapter 51 & 52)

CONTENT WARNING: Incest, codependence, emotional abuse, Stockholm syndrome, poor mental health, self-harm, vampire things.
Things to Note:

- All names are [REDACTED]--!
- The healthy delusion she sees will be visible to the audience. But it will be clear that there's also nothing really there.
- Thoughts will be heard so people know what she's thinking.
- Only scenes with Yuuki in it are viewable, obviously.

Summary:

- Yuuki is thirsting for blood and clearly hasn't drank for a while. She's not in a good mental state and has a conversation with a... child version of herself which she tries to crush. It's super healthy.

- Turns out it really wasn't real, surprise. But she's still thirsty and ultimately... ends up biting herself. Because sure that will work except not really. Aidou smells her blood and finds her. He notices her hunger and that something seems off about her relationship but rather than force answers out of her, he gives her some blood tablets. Her 'brother' shows up however and says no to the blood tablets and that he'd take care of her.

- Things grow a little darker as they talk. She admits that she will never fully be sated because she loves more than one person and he says that's fine-- which upsets her. He calls her a terrible fiance and she agrees and tries to run off but he won't let her. He tells her that he'd rather kill her than let her go again. Or else have her kill him. He gets weird about things, before allowing her to drink some of his blood--

- She notices and senses that there is something behind a set of doors, but he doesn't ultimately tell her what's behind them when she asks.

Commentary:
- Welp her childhood crush is also her brother who is also her fiance.
- This was her first time using her fangs on her own
- She's super healthy obviously.
- Her brother has a bad personality sometimes
- There's something behind those doors
- She's never had blood tablets and is only allowed to drink Kaname's blood
- She has feelings for both [ REDACTED ] and [ REDACTED ] and gosh she's a crappy fiance but at least she's honest.

Effects:

- Feel like shit because she's a bad fiance. Also, this was all a lot to take in.

Memory 03

Memory Three
(VKM Chapter 1)

Things to note:

- Everything should be from her perspective. If she is not present, she obviously didn't hear the conversation.
- She is about 12 years old here
- All names are [ REDACTED ]. Titles are NOT.

Summary:

- Yuuki meets a new roommate for the first time! Recently, it seems that all of the roommates she's gotten have mysteriously transferred. :(

- Her friend's dad seems really kind and worried! [ REDACTED ] says he told her (Redacted) to be friends with Yuuki, so obviously, this makes him a really thoughtful and kind person.

- Yuuki ends up asking if she'll be friends with her... she's a little shy about the fact, that [ REDACTED ] tells her that would be just fine. That's when the embarrassment happens though...!

- Her adoptive father appears to be spying on them from a tree. He gets excited when [ REDACTED ] says that she'll be friends with Yuuki and says he's so glad, because she doesn't have any friends. Yuuki promptly knocks him out of the tree with a pillow, closes the window, and apologizes for the headmaster.

- [ REDACTED ] questions why she calls him headmaster instead of father. She says that if he wasn't the chairman she'd say father, but she prefers it like this while in school. Otherwise, she worries what people might think since he's too doting.

- Later, they've finished their classes and such, but on their way back to the dorm, [ REDACTED] asks for Yuuki to go on ahead because she left her notebook. She's fine with this, and while heading out she runs into a familiar face...! It's [ REDACTED ]. He has the notebook which [ REDACTED] dropped, so she runs back to find her with her 'acquaintance'.

- Upon finding [ REDACTED] again, she sees that she's with and has met [ REDACTED- Kaname]. Excited to see him, she floats over. He pets her on the head and smiles gently, and explains to her that she should feel relieved now. Her new roommate won't suddenly change schools. She's confused about this but mostly just happy to see him. And that's where the memory fades and ends.

Commentary:

- Guess I didn't have friends... wonder why they kept transferring out :(
- [Redacted] seems like a really sweet girl and friend though.
- Her childhood friend [redacted] had already moved in.
- Looks like she stayed in the dorms despite the chairman being her father
- Speaking of him, she doesn't call him father but only chairman or headmaster.
- Adoptive father is REALLY embarrassing

Effects:

It makes her wonder more about the past. Why couldn't she hold onto any friends... glad to know she met a friend like [Redacted] though. Glad to see more of her adoptive father, too.

Memory 04

Memory Four
(Chapter 25 - 26)

CONTENT WARNING: Emotional manipulation
Things to Note:

- All names are redacted. However, her adoptive father's title as 'Chairman' will remain.
- Her thoughts and feelings should be included with the memory.

Summary:

- The memory begins with Freya in the middle of a market square. She's with a friend shopping, but it seems her mind is wholly on something else that seems to be troubling her.

- Her friend apologizes for dragging her along, but Freya tells her it's fine she didn't have anything to do. It seems, though, that her friend has noticed how distracted she's been. She comments upon it and goes on to say that Yuuki has been acting strange all day. But what is more, is that she's been avoiding a boy and that she'll have to interrogate him about it later.

- She finds out that her friend doesn't seem fond of the mysterious boy who saved her in a previous memory and doesn't trust the class he's from. You realize that there is a day and night class here.

- A child appears and asks for his mother. Freya is a little nervous to wander off from her friend, but is concerned and offers to help him. He leads her to a strange building and ends up giving her a kiss on the cheek. Ultimately, this causes her to black out.

- When Freya awakens again she's on a couch inside a large room with a high ceiling. Quickly she notices that the mysterious man who saved her previously is there now. Upon seeing him she bolts up straight only to realize how dizzy she is, and he catches her. She goes to thank him when he mentions that he thought she wasn't talking to him...

- She flusters and tells him that as long as he has stopped doubting a different friend of hers it's fine. He admits he doubted too much but goes on to tell her he wasn't happy with her words toward him. She protests but he tips her head up and then delicately touches her throat, before warning that and that she's the reason he acted that way. He notices her heart racing and flusters and remarks that maybe she can understand a little about how he feels.

- They are interrupted by a friend of the mysterious man. Apparently, this is the basement of a building where a vampire soiree is taking place, and something about it feels hauntingly familiar. She finds out that vampire children don't suck blood, but that they drink the energy from their victims, and this is likely why she passed out. Because it could be dangerous, she is told to remain in there until she can be picked up.

- For a while, Freya sits patiently as told, and notices the room has no windows. It seems strangely familiar again, as though she's been in a room like it before when suddenly the door peeks open. It's the child once more, he apologizes to her for what he did and runs out of the room. Freya calls for him to wait, and runs after him to request he not tell anyone else she is there, but she hears the chatter from the ball and ends up quietly sneaking out to investigate.

- When peeking over the balcony railing into the center of an elegant room, there is a large group of beautiful and famous people below. She recognizes them as famous singers, actresses, CEO's. athletes and much more.

- Suddenly within the crowd of beautiful people, she seems to spot a familiar face... a silvery-gray-hared boy, standing stoically off to the side. Almost at once she ducks out of view, clearly confused. Why is he there!?? Thoughts of him seem to fluster her when she thinks of an earlier memory of him, and she flushes deeply, holding her cheeks, before peering back over the rail. She remembers that they are childhood friends and that he is someone she cares for. Apparently, she thinks he must be there for some kind of job.

- The vampires suddenly part and bow as her mysterious savior enters the room. People defer to him but then direct the attention in the room to her childhood friend. Freya cannot hear well, but it seems there is some kind of exchange or tension between the mysterious man who saved her as well as her childhood friend. People seem to think he took the man's side?

- Freya continues to watch as women are introduced to her savior, and people seem to murmur about the fact that he may begin to start thinking seriously about relationships. But this commotion is broken up by the entrance of a stunningly beautiful woman.

- The new woman causes a stir as she chastises everyone for bothering her mysterious savior. She seems incredibly elegant and shares a similar aura to her rescuer. He kisses her hand, and Freya can feel her stomach twist and she gets back up to run back to the room she had been told to stay in originally. She seems to realize that she doesn't fit into this sort of world at all.

- While sitting against the door. someone tries to open it again and it's her same favorite person as before. He asks her to let him in, and once inside he turns to shut the door and seems disappointed when he reminds her that he had told her not to leave the room.

- Freya tries to apologize but he tells her he won't forgive her with just an apology this time. He embraces her, hefts her up, and then drops her upon the couch. He asks why she left the room and she explains that it had been because of the little boy. Tiredly, he lies down atop her and tells her that before he can forgive her, he wants to simply remain like that for a while. It seems he's tired.

- Freya ends up embracing him in turn and tells him that it's fine... she would do anything for him. She finds it strange because she is so distant from his world, and yet here in this moment he's in her arms.

- After a short while, she removes her hand and he questions her. She flushes and confesses to him that she had stopped calling him by the honorific 'sama', because she felt like it made them too distant. She begins to confess that since he's always been so kind fo her, that is supposed to have been enough, and yet--- clearly she's upset with the scene from before.

- To her surprise, he suddenly dips down low upon her, his lips against her neck. She can feel his breath, and his name slips out in confusion when suddenly his tongue draws up along her throat. She shudders with a small gasp, heart thundering in her chest, and he pulls back to look upon her again.

- When he looks upon her he asks if she would like to become a vampire. Her kind-- their lifespan is too fleeting. He asks if she would become a blood-sucking monster like him, and spend eternity at his side. His lips nearly touch hers, before he slips past her chin again, and she can feel his breath upon her throat. With an inhale, she whispers yes...... at the same time tears fill her eyes.

- A hand brushes her cheek and whips at her tears, and suddenly he is off of her. He sits up and apologizes for going too far, before drawing her against him to press a kiss upon the top of her head. She seems shocked and confused, and he tells her not to make such a face, and to simply let this serve as a lesson to be more careful from now on, which is where the memory fades...

Commentary:

- The man who saved her is....????
- Welp vampire children don't suck blood they suck energy.
- There's something strange about basement rooms with no windows
- The vampire world is so beautiful and how could she ever fit in? Except she is one now. . .
- She has a cute friend.

(Extra Chapter: Cross Family Vacation)

Summary:

The Cross family goes on vacation! It seems that vampires don't do well in the sun though...? Oops. Freya gets bullied into calling her adoptive father 'father' and they are almost attacked by a monster in the woods....?

(Chapter 27)

Summary:

It's right before winter break and everyone has left the academy, except for the school prefects. She spends the time trying to recall her childhood memories but ends up witnessing a scary delusion when she does. As a result, she visits the Vampire Hunter headquarters to search their archives for information regarding her past and the day she was found, but when she pulls out the records they turn to flames.

Summary:

Freya falls ill with a high fever. During this time, the man who saved her as a child (her brother) visits. She doesn't want him to leave and clings to him in her sleep. When she wakes up, of course he is gone, but she discovers that someone else was holding vigil outside her bedroom?

Summary:

Freya is delusional and has now progressed to seeing things that are not real at most times. Her mental state is in disaray and she can't make it stop no matter how hard she tries. After attacking her childhood friend in her madness, she then tries to push him away. Ultimately, the man who saved her before shows up to whisk her away from her bedroom. He then goes through the process of 'waking her up'.

Her memories are restored, and with this action, she recalls how her parents died and that the man saving her is actually her brother.

Summary:

It seems her school is under attack by her uncle...? The one responsible for the death of her parents is behind it. She goes to face and stop him, but finds she has an additional enemy-- one she never wanted to be pitted against at all.
